Water is everywhere in Mia's day. In the morning, she has a shower. Then she makes coffee with water. At work, she has a bottle of water on her desk. At night, she has a glass of water by her bed.

She goes to the kitchen. She turns on the water there. There is no water in the kitchen. "No shower," she says. "No coffee, and no tea." This is a bad morning.
台所に行きます。そこで水を出します。台所でも水が出ません。「シャワーもだめ」とミアは言います。「コーヒーも紅茶もだめ」ひどい朝です。
Mia goes next door. Mrs Green is there with her cat. "Do you have water?" asks Mia. "No," says Mrs Green. "There is no water in the house." "There is no water in the street."

五時に、男の人が来ます。水道会社の人です。「もう水は大丈夫です」と言います。ミアは家に帰ります。シャワーを出します。水が出ます！
That night, Mia has a long, hot shower. Then she has a glass of water by her bed. She looks at it for a long time. Now she thinks about water.
